Teens remanded over Shaquille murder
Two teenagers have been remanded in custody after being charged with the murder of a 14-year-old schoolboy stabbed while sitting on a bench outside his home.
Shaquille Smith was killed in Hackney, east London, on Saturday.
Godiowe Dufeal, 19, of Well Street, east London, and a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons appeared at Thames Magistrates' Court in London.
They were remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on October 3.
Three other men have been arrested in connection with the murder.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: "A 17-year-old male voluntarily attended an east London police station and was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody."
Earlier, police arrested an 18-year-old and a 21-year-old over the murder.
Shaquille was sitting on the bench in St Thomas's Place just before midnight.
He was stabbed in the stomach and died the next day in hospital.
His sister Tahira, 16, was also stabbed and treated in hospital for her injuries.
Shaquille had been due to go back to school this week to start his GCSE studies.
He was the 25th teenager to die in attacks in London this year.
